Rain, rain go away...

Today was a rainy day. A storm with high winds came through just after Jonas got home off the bus. Jeremiah's school delayed letting them out, because of the storm. Malachi kept trying to sing the song, "Rain, rain go away come again another day." Malachi and I cleaned most of the morning. Malachi helped me and let me know when I missed a spot. Kyle and I had a chance to really sit down and talk about out future ministry last night. It is pretty exciting to plan and think about. Jeremiah is talking about daddy baptising him this summer, and Jonas is really thinking and asking alot of questions about putting Jesus in his heart. After daddy is ordained in July he will be able to do Jeremiah's baptisism himself. One day, Jonas was being kinda notty at bed time, and I said to him to be nice because he didn't want to make daddy, mommy and Jesus sad. He said, "but I don't have Jesus in my heart so I can't make him sad..." I said, "even though you don't have Jesus in your heart yet Jesus loves you and wants you to be good." He just looked at me like "oh man!"

The puffer fish

When Malachi gets mad or upset he does the funniest thing lately. He will puff up like a puffer fish. We say oh no he's a puffer fish again. When he gets upset he will put his hands up and puff out his cheeks. It is so funny when he puffs up!

Malachi is a big boy..

Malachi got a new carseat! His was not big enough anymore... He loves the cup holder... We took a drive today and I think he liked it!

We had a big day and after baths will let puppy in to play...

Making supper with lots of help....

Jonas and Malachi helped me make supper tonight... They love to be my helpers.


While we were making supper Daddy and Jeremiah played Chess. They were both pretty serious about the game as you can tell. ;-)

Malachi's tragic event today!

Malachi was playing around the house today and kept going into his room. He loves to go into his room and lock the door. Usually he will just unlock it or we just get the little key and it's been no big deal. Today Malachi went into his room and locked the door and then pushed the crib over to the toy box and got in. We heard him crying and he was locked in his room in his crib and we couldn't find key. Daddy to the rescue and had to take the door knob off the door and get him out. Jeremiah and Jonas stood at the door and talked to him and told him it was ok. We have now turned the door knob, so he can't lock it anymore!!

cold day inside with boys.....

It was cold out today, so the boys played inside. They all three played Thomas trains this morning for hours. I was suprised at how nice they all played together all morning.
Malachi came over to me and was trying to take his socks off and saying daddy socks off. Last night daddy had taken his socks off and then took Malachi's off and Malachi didn't like it until he showed him his was off also. Then he thought it was cool to be just like daddy.
Jonas was working on his reading today. He can sound out words really good and is starting to read books. He is very proud of himself when he sounds a word out and knows what it is.
Jeremiah has been studying up on the game Chess. He is in a school chess club and is learning how to play the game. He is taking good care of his puppy. Rose Bud really likes her pigs ear to chew on.
I stayed busy cleaning the house and playing with boys today. I also, was working on the children's book I am writing. Jeremiah read it and liked it, but was editing it for me. I guess he is my editor. ;-)
Kyle stays very busy and is working hard on his works new website that is going to be done next week. He is gearing up to preach 3x next month at church.

Malachi is warming up the RoseBud today. He really likes her just alittle nervous about getting to close. Jeremiah is taking good care of his new puppy!

The boys are enjoying there Spring Break. It is so nice out today.... They have been outside all morning playing. Malachi got away and ran outside in his pj's this morning. ;-)

Yesterday we went to the library. The boys played with puzzles, played on the computers, played with a little girl that was there and picked out books & videos. There is a train at that library that the kids can get in and they loved going in there also. Jeremiah picked out a Golden Retriever movie, Jonas picked out a Winnie the pooh movie and Malachi picked out yoga kids. Jeremiah played with a girl down the road in our back yard. She thought RoseBud was very cute! They also played at her house for awhile.

Awesome Report!

Kyle's dad got his report back on his biopsy he had on Monday and it was negative for cancer! That is an answer to prayer. He will have a biopsy on his lung soon to make sure it is nothing bad. I think he is going to be just fine and have tons of time to play and run with his Grandsons. ;-)

Mam-ma & Pap-pa visited

We enjoyed a visit from mamma and pappa today. The boys showed them the puppy and they thought she was adorable.

Jonas at walmart

We went to walmart tonight to get a new blender to make our smoothies with. We got what we needed and were checking out and the cashier lady almost dropped a toy shovel we bought. Jonas saw her and he said, "don't be a P-I-L-L!"

RoseBuds pen is up

We got our new dog pen up for RoseBud today. She seems to really like it. The boys are crazy about there new pup. Jeremiah loves feeding her and playing with her. Jonas and malachi love to feed her doggie snacks.

The boys played outside this afternoon with there new swings and new sand toys. They are ready for Spring and so am I. ;-) They get pretty wild in the winter time inside all the time! We love to go outside bike rides, go to the park, and talk walks.

Easter Celebration at church

We had an Easter Egg hunt, flew kits and had a yummy Easter supper. We all had a great time. The kids got lots of Easter Eggs and loved flying kites.

Easter

We had an awesome easter day! We went down to our folks church and got to see everyone and then spent the day with family. When we got back home we colored Easter Eggs and talked about what Easter is all about.... The Easter Bunny brought Jeremiah dand Jonas swings for our swing set and brought Malachi sand and sand toys. Mommy and Daddy suprised the boys with a Golden Retriever puppy.

WOW!! I have a puppy...

Today we surprised Jeremiah with a Golden Retriever puppy. He has begged for a Golden Retriever puppy for years. She is so sweet and pretty. All the boys are so excited! They have helped feed and water her. She loved to run with them in the back yard. Her name is RoseBud and she is 12 weeks old.

When we stopped at the ladies truck to see the puppies all the puppies looked out of her pick-up and Jonas says," It's the buddies." He is talking about the 5 puppies from the movie Snow Buddies. They are 5 Golden Retriever puppies. They named her after the girl dog on that movie.

Messy

Malachi has been a busy busy boy... He has been getting into everything. He poured baby power all over the floor and in his brothers shoes, he put some lotion on the floor and he poured half a can of salt on the floor. He says messy. I wonder if he makes a mess just so he can clean it up since he loves to clean up! ;-) Brother Jeremiah didn't like baby powder in his shoes this morning....

Jeremiah as Galileo

All the 3rd graders at Jeremiah's schoool dresses up as someone today. He choose Galileo. They had little dots on there hands that people could push and they would tell about the person they were. He is holding his telescope. They were frozen until someone pushed the button on there hand...

I need Clothes!

Malachi woke up this morning and decided to take off all his clothes including his diaper. He was fussing and Jonas went into check on him and give him a poptart. I came in and found Malachi in his crib with no clothes on and eating a poptart talking to Jonas. ;-) He looked at me and said I need clothes....

Malachi's new phrase

Malachi has started saying, " I don't want to " when you try to give him a bath or something he doesn't want to do. He will run away for you yelling it and when you catch him he will kick wildly saying " I don't want to."

Preschool... I painted...

Malachi painted today at his preschool. He loved to paint, but didn't want to get his hands messy. He say, That messy.

Malachi sat down on our kitty cat today and the can didn't even seem to mind....

Gymnastics!

I took Malachi to gymnastics today and he had so much fun. He jumped on the trampoline, ran all around, swung on the ring and walked the beam....

We all went out and played this morning in the snow for a few minutes. It was fun!! We build at snowman....

Clouds talk!

On the way to church tonight we told Jonas they are talking about snow & rain tomorrow. Jonas said snow comes out of a snow clouds and rain comes out of a rain cloud!!

Jeremiah has been talking a lot about quadrilaterals all weekend...

Malachi was watching me eat my breakfast this morning and I turned around and he wasn't there. He had gone out to play in the back yard. ;-) He was not happy to have to come back in the house to get ready to leave for church...

Playing at the park

Today was a beautiful day for the park! The boys played and played. We went up and checked out the little cave. Jeremiah surprised us all by climbing way up on the rocks. Jonas wanted to try climbing it but it was a little high for him to climb. Jeremiah climbed a good 10 ft. Jonas found a little girl he played with. He came running over to me so excited and said mommy it's a girl. He liked playing with her. Malachi loved swinging.
