Fun at the gym

Malachi wanting me to hurry up drinking my water, so he could play basketball.

Malachi and I went to the gym today. I walked/ran a mile and then shot some hoops. Malachi played with the kids for about 20 minutes and then they paged me. ;-) Mama's boy he is! I went and got him and he said, I want play basketball. So, we went back and played for alittle while. He maybe napping for awhile he was tired. Kyle walked a mile at the gym this morning early. I am making a stew for supper and it is smelling so good.

Art Night At School

Tonight was Fine Arts night at school. Jeremiah and Jonas both had some pictures up on the wall. They also had a book fair in the library. Jonas loved it and kept picking up books. ;-) Malachi got a shape and color book, Jonas got Dora, Diego and CARS books and Jeremiah got sponge bob books. They all love to look and read books.

Jonas' field trip

Jonas had so much fun on his field trip to the farm today. They got to eat there lunches there, Play on the playground and then look at the animals in the barn. The instructor there brought a couple animals out for them to pet. He also talked to them all about animals in the barn. He really enjoyed playing with all his friends. He loved Malachi going. They also got to play on the hay bales and slide off. It was a big day at the farm!!

lunch date!

Kyle, Malachi and I went out to lunch today. Malachi was SO good just sat there and colored and never got up at all. It was nice to just relax and have fun. Malachi loved his pizza. ;-) He was being so cute while he was eating his lunch.

Malachi

Malachi got up on the counter one day last week and said, I want draw. I gave him some paper and he looked so cute up there drawing... He was not thrilled when I put him down at the table.

Rowdy boys

Jonas and Malachi are very lively this morning. They have destroyed Mala's room and are having lots of fun!! I always wondered what life would be like when they were
2yrs and 4yrs. They can get into alot of stuff working together....

Mam-ma & Pap-pa cam to visit

The boys had fun playing with Mam-ma & Pap-pa today for alittle while. They climbed the tree and showed off for them. Kyle was mowing the yard and Malachi kept going from window to window watching him.

Fun Saturday

We went to the gym this morning. We got a family pass to a gym. We walked and played basketball. Jeremiah and I raced some at the track. When I see a track my track days come back and my feet start itching. ;-) I loved to run track. I made Kyle a horse and a pig in basketball. After that he wouldn't play with me anymore cause I was winning all the games. We may see about the boys taking swimming lessons there this summer. Kyle is planning on going there in the mornings before work and loosing some weight. I'm thinking about taking some exercise classes. It will be a fun place for me to take the wild rascals this summer when it's to hot outside.

The boys are watching the movie "Alvin and the Chipmunks" this afternoon. Jeremiah got out of school early today. We watched it last night, but the boys loved it so much they wanted to watch it again before we take it back. We have been getting the McDonald's $1. movies lately. The boys loved Underdog and The Bee Movie also. Jonas, Malachi and I went grocery shopping this morning and that was an adventure as always. ;-) They are lots of help.

Preschool

We had my preschool today here at our house. Ms. Reagan came today and they had a great time. Drew was out of town this week. Reagan's little sis comes sometimes. Today we learned about the letter F. We had fish sticks for lunch and made a fish craft. We made muffins for snack. They loved mixing those up...

Pretty Day..

It was so pretty out today. It was even a little hot! Malachi and I went for a walk this morning and on the way back Malachi played with Rachel. she lives around the corner. Rachel wants to come see our puppy soon. We walked and played with Rosebud today. She has got the sitting down good. Having a little trouble with her jumping, but she will enrolled in puppy preschool starting in May. I want her to learn really good manners so we can all enjoy her.

We played our switch-a-role game today. Jonas was daddy, I was Jonas, Daddy was Jeremiah, Jeremiah and Malachi and Malachi was mommy. Oh and Rosebud was Frosty and Frosty was Rosebud. The boys love to play this game!! Today mommy was very lively and talked alot...

Malachi making breakfast

Malachi helped me make breakfast this morning. He wanted french toast. His favorite part is putting the salt and Cinnamon in the bowl. Frosty was very interested in what Malachi was cooking. Daddy said, they were a Little salty, so I think Malachi must have gotten carried away with the salt when I turned around. ;-) They are getting ready to watch a new Wonder Pets show in a few mintues. Then Jonas will be off to school.

Fun day

Malachi and Jonas were enjoying there smoothies outside this evening. It was such a pretty day today. We didn't go out for most of the day because it hurt Jonas' eyes after getting them dilated, but we stayed out alot this evening.

Jeremiah was reading his Club House Magizene this evening. He really gets into those. They are done by Focus on the family and they are very neat. Jonas get Club House Jr.

He is Enrolled

We enrolled Jonas into a half day Kindergarten today!!! We had planned to send him to preschool for another year, but he has done so awesome getting his bowel issues under control we feel he is ready. So, if he doesn't have any more set backs he is off to Kindergarten in 3months. He is excited... He is feeling like a big boy these days... He will be going to school about he same hours as he is going this year just in the morning. Then in another year we can decide if he is better suited for a full day Kindergarten or 1st Grade.

Eye Dr. visit

Jonas went to the Eye Dr. today. He did alot more for them today than he has done in the past. He was such a big boy and had him tell them what pictures and numbers he saw. He thought that part was fun. He didn't care for getting his eyes dilated. The Dr. said, his eyes have not changed. Which in his case is good because they are only expected to get worse if they change any. He said, that them not changing any in the past 3 years is good. Said he, was a good candidate for contacts in a few year. He got lots of stickers and cool glasses to wear home. Of course Malachi had to have some stickers and cool glasses also. On the way home Jonas' glasses fell off and he couldn't get them back on. I told him to pull his hat down so the sun wouldn't hurt his eyes. Then Malachi pulled his hat down and said hurt eyes. He thought his eyes needed everything Jonas did. ;-) We are home now and he is playing. Says he can't see to good... He is going to stay home from school today. We thought that would be kinda miserable to go to school just after having your eyes dilated.

Jeremiah's Field trip

Jeremiah had his field trip today. He and all the kids had so much fun. Jeremiah's best friend Bethany went and they had a blast on the bus and at McDonald's. The cave was very neat and wet. We got dripped on alot. The kids all squealed when water hit them. Jonas didn't mind he sat down in a puddle. ;-) They all were asigned to be different things like bioligist, geologist and hydrologist. Jeremiah was a biologist so he got to crawl in the little space to look for bats, spiders and cave crickets. Malachi hung on to daddy pretty tight in the cave. Kyle got a work out carring him the whole way. I was holding Jonas' hand. They did some lab stuff there also and learned all about caves. They have been studying caves in there class at school. At McDonald's Bethany sat with us and they talked and talked... Jeremiah must really like her because he actually willing took a bit of a cherry pie just to impress her!!! His teacher said they are pretty sweet on each other. In his class he has a girl after him and won't let anyone sit by him other than her at the lunch table. ;-) AND THE FUN BEGINS.... We all had a great day... Jeremiah said, his favorite part was going in the cave.

movie night

The boys and I watch the movie Ratatouille this evening. Daddy had a work concert he had to go to tonight. The boys and I stayed home because we have to get up early in the morning. Jeremiah's gifted class field trip to Bran son is tomorrow and we are all going. We all had a good day. Jeremiah finished up his MAP testing today. He said it went good. Jonas, Malachi and I played inside today. It was kinda cold out. Kyle met with Tommy (our former pastor) to talk over some church planting stuff. He said, they had a great lunch and he learned alot. Tommy is a great guy and they get alone very good. We miss our church we went to so much. It's been 1 year 1month and 18 days since we left. Yes, I miss it that much still. There church has just exploded with growth. There music is awesome! OH, my hubby brought me home flowers last night!! Really... For no reason at all... Just to be sweet!

Lazy day

We didn't do much today. I have had a sinus/ear ache for most of the day and yesterday also. Yesterday I felt alot worse than today. I canceled my preschool today cause I was stopped up and didn't feel like keeping up with them. Jonas cried with his ears one night this week. I'm sure it is all the wind this week.

Jeremiah had had MAP testing all this week at his school. He says it is hard and fun. They give them snacks in the morning and he really likes that. He has one more days of testing...

Gymnastics

I took Malachi to gymnastics today. He had lots of fun! He loves to bounce on the trampoline and swing on the rings. He was waiting his turn and sharing very nice today with the other little kids there. He got all excited when we pulled in the parking lot.

Jonas is so funny

Jonas came and got in our bed last night. This morning around 6am he said, "Daddy, Jeremiah hit me." He said it two more times and Daddy said, "Jonas, Jeremiah isn't here." He said, "huh!" I said, "Jonas, you must have been dreaming. Just close your eyes and go back to sleep." He got quiet again... He is so funny!!

Photo session

Malachi had a photo session today at home! I took alot of pics and got some cute ones I think. Jeremiah and Jonas had theirs done at school and I needed some of Malachi. He thought I was funny putting stuff on my head and trying to get him to say cheese...

Gramps & Granny came to visit

Gramps, Granny and Aunt Julie came to visit this evening. They brought pizza for supper. The boys really enjoyed that. Malachi was so cut eating his pizza upside down! We had a good time and glad they all came by. Gramps came up for some tests today. After they left Malachi went and got more pizza and got into all the little cheese containers. ;-) I forgot to take any pictures! I know very unlike me, but I forgot all about it when the pizza arrived. So, here is some pics of them...

I have been cleaning our carpets with a steamer today. Malachi loves watching and laughing at me! I think it looks some better! I have also been doing a little decorating around the house this week. Been meaning to do that for YEARS... My house needed a splash of color and still needs some. I think Kyle is going to get a membership to a health Club and start working his tummy off! Yeah!!! ;-)

Birthday Cake Time

We enjoyed having Daddy a birthday party tonight after supper! We had birthday cake and fruit salad. We are now going to watch Star Wars with Daddy! Daddy has had lots of calls today to wish his Happy Birthday! His Mom & Dad and my parents called today to wish him Happy Birthday! Aunt Julie came to see him for a minutes and His Aunt Pam called him. He went to see his Dad for a few minutes today and gave him some of the brisket he made...

Kyle is Smoking brisket on the stove top this morning for lunch. I would have made him something for his birthday, but he insisted he wanted to use his smoker.

Present time for daddy....

The boys were so excited for Daddy to open his card and present this morning. He got a Breifcase organizer to use for his church plant to keep things together. He seemed to really like it! We will have cake after lunch. Kyle is smoking brisket on the stove top right now! Can you say, YUMMY!!!

Prayer request

Please keep Kyle's dad Allen in your prayers. He was diagnosed with Lunger cancer yesterday. He has a really good attitude about it all. He feels God is going to take care of it for him and see him thru this.

Thanks so much for your prayers for him.

Last night Jonas was spelling COX on the table and said that's where Gramps had his tests. I said yes and his tests said he was kinda sick. He said surgery fixed me. Surgery fix gramps. He had hernia surgery a few months ago.

Jeremiah teaching Rosebud to sit

We have been working with Rosebud on learning to sit. She is doing good. She is almost 15 weeks old now. She will start puppy preschool the first week in May to learn good manners. She is such a sweet puppy and we all love her already.

"Yum That's Good"

Yesterday morning Jonas got a measuring cup off the counter and put some water in it and then went and got the salt Shaker. I was on the phone talking to my mom watching him to see what he was doing. As Jonas is mixing salt and water and stirring it up Malachi comes over to see what he is doing. He is eating some colored fishy crackers and starts putting them in the cup with the water and salt. They mixed and stirred and kept adding more salt and crackers. Jonas took the salt Shaker and emptied it and then took it and put it down in the water and was crushing the fishy crackers. By this time they had water and soggy colored fishy crackers all over the counter and them. Jonas I guess thought his master piece was all done and actually took a Little drink! He made a horrible face and said, "Yum that's good."

Aunt Julie comes to visit

The boys really enjoyed Aunt Julie coming to visit today. They played games & roughed her up some! ;-)By the look on her face in the 1st. picture I think she is afraid of losing the game.

Visiting Gramps

We went and visited Gramps this evening. He had a lung biopsy and they kept him over night to keep an eye on him. The boys liked getting to see Gramps. They also got to see a helicopter take off out the window.

Rainy day

It was a rainy out today. I watched a movie this morning and then started cleaning out our closet. Oh my goodness I can't believe we have clothes from when we got married that have not fit us for YEARS! All the clothes in the picture is ones we can't and never wear. We should have room for the clothes we do wear now. ;-) Malachi thought our closet when it is all cleaned out makes a good play house!! I also watched a the movie Man from Snowy River today during nap time.

Breakfast time

The boys were being cute during breakfast this morning. Jonas was sining the ABC song and Malachi was trying to sing it with him. ;-)

Bath time for puppy...

We decided to give puppy a bath today! That was an adventure with three boys! ;-) We had a blast and got alittle wet... Before we gave the pup a bath we went to the park for alittle while. There was a couple with a little girl playing ball. Jonas helped the little girl get the balls.

I was getting ready to go out and feed the puppy this morning and had a cup of dog food sitting on the counter. I went to get my coat and came back and I found Malachi giving the kitty the dog food. ;-)

Puppy

Jeremiah was out playing with his puppy today. They had lost of fun running and playing. He is trying to teach her to fetch. She is doing pretty good. we are also working with her with the leash.

Future Plans......

God has given us a vision to see changed lives for Christ. God has called us to plant a exciting, energetic, spirit-led, thriving Free Will Baptist church from scratch and watch God do outrageous things. We will be seeking out a core group and fundraising at some point. We have no idea where our core group is going to come from but we have faith that just the right people will be sent our way. We are planning out the details and praying for the right time to step out of faith. Please pray for us as we venture out into the great unknown and step out of faith.

Pizza night...

We enjoyed a night out with Pizza and games. Malachi got a red teddy bear & Jonas got a Deigo toy.

Malachi got carried away with his play dough

Malachi was playing play dough at the table really good for awhile and then he cut it up and pushed in all over the floor. He was nice and helped me clean it up. ;-)

Taking a walk

We all enjoyed a walk before dark tonight with our puppy. She got tired and road back part of the way in the wagon.

Animal clinic vist

We took our puppy Rosebud & kitty Frosty to get there check-ups today at the animal clinic. Both are doing great and very healthy. Rosebud weighed 27lbs. Malachi jumped on the scales while we were there and it said 29lbs. Both pets were glad to get back home. Frosty went in her carrier and Rosebud sat in the front seat of the van. Malachi loved helping daddy and I with the pets. While we were there I noticed a flyer with a litter of Golden Retriever puppies in it. There were 9 puppies for sale in the picture. I got to looking at it more and the name on there was the lady we got Rosebud from. She was in the pic. Not sure which one because they all looked so much alike.

April fools

Jeremiah got both of his Grandma's good today. He had them totally believing him. Aunt Julie fell for it for a couple mintues then figured it out. Jeremiah thought that was pretty funny to get both of grandma's. He told them he had done so good on his MAP testing that they were putting him in 5th grade next year instead of 4th. He kept putting his hand over his mouth and laughing while he was talking to them....

Map night at school

Jonas and his friend Rachel that lives down the road from us. They love to play together. Can you tell he enjoyed the pizza!


It was MAP night at Jeremiah's school tonight. They talked about what kinds of things will be on there tests and they got a chance to do some work with parents help. Jonas and Malachi got to color with the younger kids while the older kids went over the stuff that would be on there tests.
