hand

It's been 2 weeks today since my third surgery on my hand. This one was on my pinky finger knuckle joint. My hand the last two days has gotten very painful and stiffer. My therapy said today that is scare tissue settling in again. Which is normal but I'm a person that gets more than my share. So, I have to work extra hard this weekend to keep what I have and not lose more. I have lost some since Monday. It was going awesome on Monday and it is now going good, but not great. I am having another one of those scar wars.. Oh man here we go again.... I see my surgeon on Monday and might get my stitches out. I am almost always in my Michael Jackson glove as Kyle calls it. It keeps my finger stretched down. She ordered me a new glove today because mine is falling apart. I am a little discouraged today and my finger is so sore. ;-/ I keep hurting it on everything and fall in pain...

PLEASE PRAY
That I will not lose anymore movement in my finger
That the pain will decrease, so I can stand to mess with it

25 random things

I did this on face book, so I'll share it here also.

RULES: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you.

1.) I guess I will do this since my 3yr old won't stay in bed so I can turn on my Wii Fit. I love my Wii Fit

2.) I grow up in Mtn Grove and lived there until I got married and now live in Springfield.

3.) Kyle and I have been married for 14yrs and have 3 wonderful lively boys. Jeremiah is 10, Jonas is 5 and Malachi is 3. They keep me very busy, but I love it.

4.) Jeremiah was diagnosed with low functioning autism at age 2. With tons of therapy, diet and prayer he is doing great these days. High functioning Autistic now.

5.) I love horses and really would love to live on a horse farm. I owed a horse named blackie when I was growing up.

6.) We really hope to adopt a little girl through private adoption or foster care in the not so distant future.

7.) I love to work with young children. I have worked in a number of day cares, as a nanny, church preschool teacher and a stay at home mom for 10years. There is nothing I'd rather do that be home with them... It goes way to fast...

8.) I had a car accident in June 08. It has been a roller coaster ride these past 8 months. I am still in hand therapy and just had my 3rd surgery. Some people say that I have gained some confidence and not near as shy after all this. I learned to not take anything for granted and try to live everyday like it was my last... I praise God that my boys were not hurt and we all survived.

9.) I love my MOPS group I've been going to the past few months. The moms there are awesome...

10.) I love my hubby very much and wish we could spend more time together and go on more dates l-)

11.) I love sports. I played volleyball and ran track in high school. I use to run until my accident hurt my back ;-/ I love to go for walks and ride bikes. we love nascar, baseball and bull riding at our house. Well Kyle likes more, but this is the ones we agree on ;-) I do love the super bowl though.

12.) Wish we could take a real vacation. Maybe the beach

13.) I love to take pictures. I have to be very ill to not have a camera in my hand usually. Even after my accident I learned how to take them with my left hand.

14.) I'd really like a bigger house, but then that means I would have more to clean and I can't seem to keep up now.

15.) Kyle was ordained as a pastor summer "08" We are currently loving attending North Point Church and not sure where God will lead us in the future. We had planned on starting a church, but with the economic situation we are holding off. We currently have some funds raised.

16.) I am a health nut and always try to eat healthy.

17.) I love taking my kids to the library. parks, playgroups, story times, gymnastics and zoo. I am one of those stay at home moms that is rarely at home because I am doing fun stuff with the kiddos

18.) We miscarried our first baby.

19.) Malachi was born 61/2weeks premature. I went into labor at 29weeks and had to go on bed rest and still had him early. We decided to not have any more bio kids after that...

20.) I can be a little OCD sometimes about my house. I like this a certain way and can't sit and watch TV or eat if my house is a mess.

21.) I love music and turn it on the second I get up and it is usually on until the time i go to bed. I have been known to take my ipod to bed with me even. I can't sit still and I am always tapping my foot or singing.

23.) My favorite place to be is home with my family

24.) I love to cook and I am usually cooking something.. boys love for me to make muffins, banana bread and cookies.

25.) I think I might be addicted to face book. There are worse things right??? ;-

Being a Kung Fu Warrior serious

Sunday was a big Sunday again at North Point Church where we attend. 3,700 biggest attendance ever. It is growing like mad. They have already outgrown the new part of the building. They are at 4 services and maxed out. It is amazing to see what this church is doing a be a part of it. Pastor Tommy preached on.. sex... Sunday. Yes, I'm serious. It's a subject that should be preached on...It was the only and best message I have heard about that topic. If your interested and prepared for a sermon you have probably not heard before go to http://northpointnow.org/pages/page.asp?page_id=41331 Appropriate for teens and up!

WOW!!

more great news from therapy today. Last wed. I got my Little finger bent down to a 75 and my therapist pushed it to a 80. This week I got it to a 80 and she pushed it to a 90. 90 is a normal hand. This surgery has been a great success!! I was suppose to go to therapy 3x a week for 3weeks . I am down to 2x this week and 2x next week. I see my surgeon next Monday. The stitches are also doing great. Oh, I forgot to mention that I am getting this great movement with stitches still in. I have stitches but they are done like staples. The last ones didn't do good. Thanks so much for your prayers.

We had an interesting morning again. We still had a couple puny's at our house so we stayed home again this morning. Kyle went to this morning to check on our dog and I said check the propane while your out there. He came back in alittle while later with this horrified look on his face and I said what wrong with pup. He said it's the the pup it's the propane and it's on 0. I said that's not right because Kyle had checked it less than a week ago and it said 20%. I called our propane company and then sent a truck right over. The driver was very nice. He did a leak test and it was fine. Thinks our tank got stuck on 20% and it was really alot lower and then dropped all the sudden. Since we are on the delivery route we didn't owe anything for them coming out on a Sunday because they should have delivered it already. All is fine with that issues.

My hand is doing good and I am back at therapy tomorrow. Just trying to keep a balance beween keeping it pulled down and letting it go straight also. It is very sore still. I keep getting it caught on things and it pulls it out alittle away from my other fingers and I will scream loud. At this rate I will not be in therapy much longer. I've been in therapy so long I almost know what Mary is going to say to try. My finger was getting tight underneath and was not wanting to go up so i started doing some straight splinting and some down splinting. I want so much huh.. Don't only want it to go down I'd like for it to go up straight also.;-)

Looks we are going to get some bad weather tomorrow starting mid-afternoon. I like snow, but don't like ice. Looks like the kids maybe home Tue if it comes like they are saying. That's ok I have Wii Fit to wear them out ;-)Even Mala has a great time on our Wii. He loves to run on the wii fit and play Mario card. I love to ski and do aerobics.

Saturday

It's been an interesting day today at our house. A very lazy day! Kyle has slept most of the day. He's not feeling good again. He has NO voice... Jonas is still coughing alot with no other symptoms and Mala has a runny nose. Jeremiah is fine and I am doing pretty good today. Those meds knocked me for a loop this time around. We will hopefully all be good for Monday morning. Sounds like we may get some ice.

I have a new baby girl cousin born today named Adie Violet. Of course named after our grandma. She has dark hair and is prefect. I'll share a pic if Aunt Linda sends me one...

If you all have noticed I am no writing as much there is 2 reasons for that. #1 is I have been ill with the pain meds and #2 is that I have been hanging out on Face book alot lately chatting. It's really cool if you haven't checked it out yet.

Looks like we will be home again tomorrow. We will go to that online church again and check it out. We had a small group to go to tonight, but couldn't make it. Were doing the book on 40 days of spiritual journey to a more generous life. Neat book all the small groups in our church are doing. We are in the small group with Jeremiah's best friends family. Jeremiah and Chase are still very close friends. His mom was so sweet last weekend after my surgery and came and got Jeremiah for a playdate and then brought him back. They enjoy going to church together these days.

Friday, January 23, 2009

This is my second day that I am still in my pj's in the afternoon. I haven't felt real great coming off my pain meds from my hand surgery. I am feeling better today, but missed MOPS ;-/ today and therapy yesterday. My hand is doing great still. I told mary my therapist I'd be fine till monday don't worry!! I just have to think like mary when something changes. ;-)

At beginning of therapy today my little finger measured 62. I had 60 on Monday. After some stretching, torture and ultrasounds I actually really got 75! Can be Pushed to 80. Dr only got it to 70 in surgery. No kidding. I prayed hard! I'm getting more than they said possible. Wow! before surgery i could do 30 and pushed to a 50. almost done with therapy if it sticks. i have to work hard this weekend to not lose it! I'm a little excited!! My therapist got 2 different measuring tools because she thought hers was broke it was so good. Pray I can keep it....

I am not thrilled that it is happening tomorrow, but we as Christians are suppose to pray for our leaders. God knew who was going to win and is still in control.

My finger measured a 60 today. Dr. got it to a 70 surgery day. Before surgery I could only get it 2 a 30 & therapist could only pushed to a 50. Gained already!!!

Therapist seemed pleased and the plan is to have 3-6 wks of therapy and then they are signing off on me!! I am pretty sore and in pain some. I'm bruised and swollen.

Surgery

It's Saturday and my surgery is all over. I am typing left handed, so won't do much. Yesterday went pretty good. I had a Bier block, so not out all the way. I couldn't see what they were doing or feel anything, but heard what they were saying. I had to have Iv's in both hands. Yeah they actually put one in my right hand. not much veins there. First one hurt horrible and didn't work because of scars. then we suggested she try over by my thumb were i wasn't tore up and tons of scare tissue and that worked. I was suppose to be in there for only 15-30min. & was in there 1hr. Dr. said there was alot more he had to do than he thought to get it to bend. I started hurting as soon as I got back to my room & had to have pain meds before leaving. Then got feeling sick on way home. I went to bed and stayed from 3pm yesterday afternoon until 8am this morning. Feeling really rotten on the meds and bad pain that just wouldn't let up.The pain is a little better this morning, but this one has hurt far worse than my last surgery. I am in a full hand cast as u can see above until at least Monday. I'm not sure how many stitches I have, but will have them 3-4wks. Dr. said he got my hand down more, but not all the way. I ask him if he could keep my hand bent down after surgery instead of putting it straight in the cast. I said my therapist was interested in him doing that if he could to get us going faster and hopefully not so stiff and straight after I get out of cast. So, my hand is bend more this time around, so I have a head start.I am just taking it easy and being lazy. Daddy is totally taking great care of boys and doing great jo. He is pretty busy! ;-) He just got a pasta bake out of oven for lunch. I made it Thursday,so he could just cook it today. I'm so glad it's over. Hoping pain lets up this is not fun. thanks for all your prayers for me!
Boys playing together this morning.

Thursday, January 15, 2009

Pray for me today I am not feeling real good.. Mala wasn't feeling real good yesterday and I have a little of that today... surgery tomorrow morning I can't get sick... I've been pretty stressed lately probably made me sick... We've had alot of decisions to make at our house and a couple were pretty easy(moving or not and adopting now or not) but the other one we are consistently stressed over and need prayers.

surgery ;-/

Please pray for my surgery. I am hoping to get more movement in my little finger. In the pic above you can see I can not bend my little finger down much at all and it gets in the way all the time. They are doing a capsolotomy on my little finger again. It didn't take the first time for some reason. The Dr. did alot of work on it last time to get rid of that lump and it is gone, but was very stiff afterwards. He thinks he can get it to bend more. Sometimes there is something there that will prevent him from being able to get it to release, but we are hopeful. I am having a Bier block this time and won't be all the way out just drugged heavily where I won't remember or at least I better be drugged enough I better not be remembering anything .-) It won't last very long and should be home not long after if everything goes good. I will be back at therapy on Monday morning early. this is just alittle incision right over my pinky finger knuckle. I'm ready to get my last surgery over with. He will not go back in at all for any reason after this. Last chance to get it all... I'm kinda nervous... I'd really like my hand back... A disabled hand at 33yrs old isn't to fun especially when you have 3 boys and a hubby. I need my hand back and I believe it can happen. Since the very beginning nothing has gone the way it should have. Mary my therapist said, everything that could have gone wrong has indeed gone wrong... Just makes for a bigger miracle in the end. ;-)

colors

Jonas came up to be last night with a big smile and said mommy did you know some people are brown. I said, yes some people are brown or black isn't that neat. I said, God made them just like us, but with an added special color. He smiled and said, I like brown people. COOL.. I have neat kids...

Boys enjoying Wii Fit last night!

GAME TIME!!

The boys were enjoying a game with daddy last night before bed.

Oh dear hubby

Kyle on the radio yesterday says, I think I'll quit my job and go try this..Islandreefjob.com. Queensland is offering $105k for someone to live on an island for 6 months. OK I heard him say that and a few minutes later my parents call. Says are you packing? I said what. My dad said I hear your moving to Australia. I laughed because I knew what he was talking about. I said yeah isn't that just so cool. He said huh ;-) I said how'd you hear about it. He said your grandma called which got a call from another family member who had gotten a call from another family member. OK so this is so funny they took him serious. ;-) One thing ya don't do is take MR. kyle serious usually in what he says he likes to have fun. So I said Dad you do know hubby likes to have fun on the radio right???????????????? Kyle thought it was all hilarious... I think he has a gift of his dads sometimes. Allen can say something somestimes that you really think he is kidding but by the look on his face you have to think well maybe he's serious. ;-)

Jeremiah is on the honor roll!!

GREAT JOB JEREMIAH!!
This morning Malachi and I went to get me pre-registered for my hand surgery at the end of this week. Went ok. It was so cold out this morning I really just wanted to stay home in my warm house. Malachi got teary eyed when they drew my blood, so mommy had to be very brave ;-/ I guess I am ready for my last surgery. This one is not as big a deal as the last 2. I will have a Bier block with this one, so won't be all the way out. Just enough to talk crazy ;-) I should have 4-6 weeks of therapy after my surgery and be completely done with this chapter in my life. I'm looking forward to spending time with Malachi taking him to gymnastics and MOPS each week. I am working in the preschool class at church on Wed. nights and am LOVING my new Wii Fit. It is so much FUN. Oh I can't believe I forgot to write about Kyle and the Wii Fit.. Kyle was nervous to get on our Wii Fit last night I think because he was afraid he hadn't lost any weight and probably gained some. His goal was 2lbs in 2weeks and he has already meet that goal!! HURRAH... SKINNY HUBBY COM'IN MY WAY ;-)

Kyle's dad had his Dr. appt for his re-check after his battle with cancer last year. He got a great report. That's great to hear...

Pictures yesterday at our house

Sunday, January 11, 2009

OH Great!

I put on my Wii Fit that my goal was to gain a few lbs. Well, I got on it last night and I am now underweight and lost 2lbs. What's the deal!!! Kyle's goal was to loss 2lbs and not sure how that is going... I was on my Wii Fit for 2hrs last night doing aerobics, yoga stretches, skiing, ski jump and soccer. I like to use it after the kids are in bed at night. It is relaxing and fun. My back/neck are fine as long as I stay away from the boxing games. The boys love Wii Sports and Wii play.

KUNG FU WARRIOR

We had the coolest message today at church. We just started a new series called KUNG FU WARRIOR. The series is designed to battle the integrity assassins. Today's topic was "The Character Killer." Basically we all have integrity assassins in our lives and we can either live with them and ignore them or attach them head on. He challenged us to become KUNG FU WARRIORS and defeat our personal assassins. We all have character killing assassins in our lives just waiting to strike at any moment or especially when your weak. I challenge you today to take some time and think what your integrity assassin are and plan to become a KUNG FU WARRIOR today. We got prayer journals today for the whole year. It maps out bible reading & a journal for your thoughts, prayer requests and praise items.

The kids were glad Family Theater started back up today after the holidays. They absolutely love it. It's where kids take there parents to learn. It is a 30min program with skits, videos, prayer time, lesson time, dancing, bubbles and much much more. I am so amazed at how much our kids have gotten out of this program. They look forward to it each Sunday.

Kyle and Jeremiah went to NPC Impact this morning. Jeremiah saw his best friend Chase there and had a great time helping. Jonas, Mala and I stayed home and played. We cleaned and painted some pictures.

Kyle and Jeremiah got home and Jonas glasses got broke. Kyle took him back out the door to get them looked at. They are broke and he needs a new pair. We will order them on Monday. Kyle is taking Jonas out to lunch and some daddy/son fun time. Jonas had a rough morning and I thought he'd have fun just going with daddy.

we are now eating some lunch and Malachi will take a short nap. Then we will most likely go look at the house we are interested in buying. It is a really nice house. Jonas told me that mom we need to get all our stuff out of this house before we sell it. afraid someone is going to take his house and all his stuff. ;-) I thought that was cute...

MOPS

Malachi and I went to MOPS this morning. It is so cool there. 40 moms that are so neat. I am 10 moms is my group. We had a nutritionist lady come talks about nutrition. WOW, that is my thing... So interesting to hear her say the things I already do is the healthy way. Things like no vegetable oil-Go olive oil. Watch what wheat bread you buy. It has to say 100% whole wheat or your basically eating white bread. No margarine- go real stick butter. These are all things I do and encourage you all to try them if you don't already. Minor changes can make a huge difference in your long time health. Go with deep colors in your vegetables. The deeper the color the better they are for you. I should go back to my Friday health post I started and then kept forgetting to do it each week. ;-) It's a bran new year go healthy.

While at MOPS i talked to a mom that is a foster-to-adopt mom. They have adopted 4 children. 2 right out of the hospital. She was so encouraging to talk to.

Today we had another big day. We started the day off with going to see a new house. We found one we think we like and are praying if this is the right move. It is bigger than ours and we are so out of room these days. We meet with the Realtor next week to discuss our house possibly going on the market.

This evening Gramps and Granny came up and watched the boys for us. The boys had a blast and made Gramps and Granny's Mii Wii's, so they can play Wii. ;-) Sounded like we had alittle excitement a couple times with boys behavior, but sounds like Gramps handled it great.

We went to an Info meeting tonight about adoption. we learned lots of information and got some questions answered. We start classes in 3 weeks. We are excited about the classes. There was 4 other couples there tonight also interested. The lady doing the meeting has a little boy she has adopted from foster care that she got as a newborn.

So, that's our day in a nutshell...Tomorrow morning is MOPS and Malachi is excited to see his friends.

Wednesday

Hello all, Sorry I haven't posted lately. I have been alittle busy. Yesterday was an extremely busy day. I went to therapy to get measured and then to my surgeon. He said, that surgery was the only chance we have to regain movement in my little finger. So, next week I go under the knife again. Not as big a deal. I won't be completely out and just one little incision this time. I will have only 6-8 more weeks of this chapter in my life and I'm really ready for it to be over. Pray my surgery goes good...

Then later that afternoon after picking up Jonas from school we came home and starting cooking for Amy. She had her new baby girl couple weeks ago. We made her pasta bake, cookies, rolls and green beans. I hope they enjoyed it. They sure have a sweet little girl at there house. You forget how little they are at first. Mommy and Baby are doing good. She also had a 2 year old boy and a 4year old girl.

After we dropped off her meal we then went to church. Kyle took the 2 older kids to there area and then ran the sound for them and I worked in Malachi's room. It was an long fun day...

We play board games tonight

We played Odyssey and sorry tonight. The boys love to play games.
Jonas is home from school and had a wonderful day. He wasn't to thrilled to get up and out the door for school this morning after 2 weeks out. He read a whole book and they played board games at recess time in there class since it was so good out today. He was telling Malachi about a volcano he say at school on the way home. they are really cute talking in the van.

Malachi had fun at Felicia's house this morning and all the girls there. She watches 3 little girls and he loves playing with them. As I was tucking him in bed last night I said you get to see all the girls at Felicia's tomorrow. He laid there and named all there names. ;-) They are all so cute...

Jeremiah had a great back at school today also. He loves school. He is helping Malachi find some trains in the train bucket right now. Jeremiah and Malachi play great together.

Therapy went ok today. They do not like that my little finger wont' bend at all hardly. We will see what the surgeon says Wednesday. He could say any of 3 things... I'm done and your done meaning no more therapy and live with it as is. He could say come back in 3-4months and we will do surgery on your little finger and then followed by 1-2months of major therapy or he could schedule for surgery now and have lots of therapy afterwards. I am kinda nervous. It's kinda all come down to a pain little finger... My neck has been bothering me and had to talk to the back/neck therapist again today and try some other things. The boxing Wii really messed it up, but none of the other Wii games seem to bother it really I don't think. He said, the boxing is just alittle to much for a back/neck that has been strained like mine in the wreck. I was really moving because I was trying to beat the undefeated Jeremiah. I didn't win and hurt myself. Anyway, it comes down to Wednesday to see if I am done or not with therapy.

Wii Fit

When the kids went to bed tonight Kyle and I played on our new Wii Fit. It was fun and challenging. I was barely in the normal weight area and scored my Wii Fit age at 30. If I loose a lbs I'll probably be in the underweight area. I won't tell what Kyle scored... He has some work to do on it. He put on his that he would try to loose 3lbs in 2 weeks. I said, I would try to gain 5lbs in 2 weeks. ;-) Both just as Challenging. We played aerobics, ski jump, hula hoop, and tomorrow I'll try some yoga. I already do some yoga, so should be fun. Kyle was sitting behind me teasing me so I didn't go to the yoga moves! I am always trying to gain weight and he is trying to loose it. I eat healthy and he eats alot of everything..Hum maybe we should just do what the other one is doing. ;-) The only time I have gained weight is right after we got married just a few lbs and then with each boy. I tried to keep some of it, but it all just fell off. Well, I'm not having anymore Bio babies, so I guess I'm going to have to start eating more... It is late and I have to go to bed now. I have therapy in the morning and the boys are back in school tomorrow, so early morning... I guess I better start tonight and go eat some more banana bread. Am I the only one in the world that wants to be healthy and toned, but gain some weight?? ;-) My grandpa always says if a big wind comes up I will blow away...

Movie time

Kyle and I were actually daring enough to take the boys to a movie in a theater this afternoon. We haven't done this since Malachi was born I don't think. We weren't sure how they would do, but since Kyle and I had already seen the movie last week it didn't matter if one of us ended up in the lobby with a kid. ;) We saw Bedtime Story's. It is funny and the kids loved it. Jonas got so tickled when it rained gum balls. Malachi was kinda wiggly but for the most part did great. Jonas and Malachi were on my lap at one point then Malachi got lured to Daddy's lap for more popcorn. I think we will attempt this again...

Fun with Aunt Julie

Aunt Julie came over this evening to see the boys new fish. The boys were excited to show them to her. She got talked into taking on the undefeated Jeremiah in Wii boxing and she beat him!! He gives ya a work out on boxing. I played him 3 games a week ago on boxing and my back has not been the same since. I kinda strained it I think and haven't played that game again since. Then Kyle and her played a game of baseball and Kyle won. Jeremiah won the bowling game they all played. I got a new Wii Fit today and I am going to go try it out right now as the boys are finally staying in there beds I think. We are alittle out of sync with staying up later during the holiday weeks and they were not to ready to go to bed tonight at 8:30.

We have 3 new pets at our house

We have 3 new fish. The boys are really excited! Aunt Julie got the boys a fish tank for Christmas. We went to Pet smart and they each picked out there own fish and named there own fish. Malachi's is a black and white spotted and he named his Freckles. Jonas got a silver one and he named his Snow fish. Jeremiah's is gold color and he named his Goldie. They seem to be happy in there new home at our house. Our kitty hasn't seen them yet. Good thing it has a top and he can't get in. ;-)

Game time

We all played Jeremiah's new Odyssey game last night. It is alot of fun. Jeremiah is good at it because he listens to alot of the Odyssey story's at night.

Mala and Jo being cute

Yesterday afternoon I said to the boys it was almost nap time and a few minutes later I found them like this. ;-)

My friend Amy from my MOPS group had her baby the day after Christmas. Isn't she cute... Her mommy had a time last week. Last Tuesday (3 days before her C-section), She slipped on the ice and in trying to protect Tyler on one hip, and the baby in front, fell to her right side and fractured & dislocated her right elbow. Three days later as scheduled, Macy was born. They are thrilled to have this new addition to there family. I get to see her next week when I take them a meal. I am loving my MOPS group. Malachi loves to go also.

I would go crazy looking at all those adorable little girl clothes. ;-) Why is it that there is 4x's as many girl clothes in the stores as there is boys clothes?? Once in a great while I get to go look in the little girl clothes and pick out something for a new baby. Kyle and I were looking for some house shoes for the boys the other day and didn't see anything we liked accept for some adorable little pink ones. ;-) Hopefully it will work out for us to adopt a little girl. I know we have our hands full with what we have, but we have always talked about adoption even before we were married.

Hand

I went to hand therapy this morning while Kyle spent the morning with the boys. I think they had lots of fun. My therapist has been out of town this week, so I have seen the boss man. He is really nice and have had him some. He has really worked over my little finger trying to get it to move at all. He says like my therapist said that I need another surgery(capsulotomy) to fix the little finger. So, I see the surgeon next week and we will see what he thinks. If 2 of the best therapists and my surgeon thought another surgery was a good idea I guess I should consider it. I'm just getting tired of it all. I've been in therapy for 7months now and it would be anther 3-4 months before they would do the next surgery probably. so that means he won't sign off on me until at least summer. I may not be as done with therapist as I thought. As you can see in the picture below my little finger just isn't bending much at all. that is as far as I can bend it down.

Fun Day!

I kidnapped Kyle today and took him out for a day of fun without kids!! We never do this, but that is why I did it because we should take more time for just us. The best thing a couple can do for there family is have a strong marriage, so we are going to start going out more. I told Kyle we were going out today, but didn't tell him where we were going. I planned the whole day out with him in mind. I first took him to Shoney's for breakfast. That was very yummy. With our tummy's full I took him to best buy to look around and bought him a new Wii game. ;-) He loves to look around Best Buy, but the kids are a hand full in places like that. I think he enjoyed just looking around at what he wanted to. Then I took him to a movie and we watched Bedtime Stories. It was actually really good. Better than I thought it was going to be. We ate popcorn that was very good. I then took him to Barns and Noble book store to look around and he picked out a book he wanted. He loves to look around there, but it is another place that the boys make challenging to look around. I then took him to Mexican Villa because he is always wanting Mexican and I'm usually not to interested. Since today was planning with him in mind I decided Mexican it was!! It was good. Then we headed home to see our sweet, amazing, cute, wild boys. ;-) It was a great day and actually the best one of the year...
Kyle made some new year resolutions this year and was telling them to me. He ask me what ones I made. I told him I made none this year. He looked puzzled and I said that I was just going to live everyday like it was my last! Make every moment count in everything you do... HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE...
