25 random things
I did this on face book, so I'll share it here also.RULES: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you.
1.) I guess I will do this since my 3yr old won't stay in bed so I can turn on my Wii Fit. I love my Wii Fit
2.) I grow up in Mtn Grove and lived there until I got married and now live in Springfield.
3.) Kyle and I have been married for 14yrs and have 3 wonderful lively boys. Jeremiah is 10, Jonas is 5 and Malachi is 3. They keep me very busy, but I love it.
4.) Jeremiah was diagnosed with low functioning autism at age 2. With tons of therapy, diet and prayer he is doing great these days. High functioning Autistic now.
5.) I love horses and really would love to live on a horse farm. I owed a horse named blackie when I was growing up.
6.) We really hope to adopt a little girl through private adoption or foster care in the not so distant future.
7.) I love to work with young children. I have worked in a number of day cares, as a nanny, church preschool teacher and a stay at home mom for 10years. There is nothing I'd rather do that be home with them... It goes way to fast...
8.) I had a car accident in June 08. It has been a roller coaster ride these past 8 months. I am still in hand therapy and just had my 3rd surgery. Some people say that I have gained some confidence and not near as shy after all this. I learned to not take anything for granted and try to live everyday like it was my last... I praise God that my boys were not hurt and we all survived.
9.) I love my MOPS group I've been going to the past few months. The moms there are awesome...
10.) I love my hubby very much and wish we could spend more time together and go on more dates l-)
11.) I love sports. I played volleyball and ran track in high school. I use to run until my accident hurt my back ;-/ I love to go for walks and ride bikes. we love nascar, baseball and bull riding at our house. Well Kyle likes more, but this is the ones we agree on ;-) I do love the super bowl though.
12.) Wish we could take a real vacation. Maybe the beach
13.) I love to take pictures. I have to be very ill to not have a camera in my hand usually. Even after my accident I learned how to take them with my left hand.
14.) I'd really like a bigger house, but then that means I would have more to clean and I can't seem to keep up now.
15.) Kyle was ordained as a pastor summer "08" We are currently loving attending North Point Church and not sure where God will lead us in the future. We had planned on starting a church, but with the economic situation we are holding off. We currently have some funds raised.
16.) I am a health nut and always try to eat healthy.
17.) I love taking my kids to the library. parks, playgroups, story times, gymnastics and zoo. I am one of those stay at home moms that is rarely at home because I am doing fun stuff with the kiddos
18.) We miscarried our first baby.
19.) Malachi was born 61/2weeks premature. I went into labor at 29weeks and had to go on bed rest and still had him early. We decided to not have any more bio kids after that...
20.) I can be a little OCD sometimes about my house. I like this a certain way and can't sit and watch TV or eat if my house is a mess.
21.) I love music and turn it on the second I get up and it is usually on until the time i go to bed. I have been known to take my ipod to bed with me even. I can't sit still and I am always tapping my foot or singing.
22.) I am a gum a maniac. I chew gum most of the time and my smacking drives Kyle crazy.
23.) My favorite place to be is home with my family
24.) I love to cook and I am usually cooking something.. boys love for me to make muffins, banana bread and cookies.
25.) I think I might be addicted to face book. There are worse things right??? ;-

We had an interesting morning again. We still had a couple puny's at our house so we stayed home again this morning. Kyle went to this morning to check on our dog and I said check the propane while your out there. He came back in alittle while later with this horrified look on his face and I said what wrong with pup. He said it's the the pup it's the propane and it's on 0. I said that's not right because Kyle had checked it less than a week ago and it said 20%. I called our propane company and then sent a truck right over. The driver was very nice. He did a leak test and it was fine. Thinks our tank got stuck on 20% and it was really alot lower and then dropped all the sudden. Since we are on the delivery route we didn't owe anything for them coming out on a Sunday because they should have delivered it already. All is fine with that issues.
My hand is doing good and I am back at therapy tomorrow. Just trying to keep a balance beween keeping it pulled down and letting it go straight also. It is very sore still. I keep getting it caught on things and it pulls it out alittle away from my other fingers and I will scream loud. At this rate I will not be in therapy much longer. I've been in therapy so long I almost know what Mary is going to say to try. My finger was getting tight underneath and was not wanting to go up so i started doing some straight splinting and some down splinting. I want so much huh.. Don't only want it to go down I'd like for it to go up straight also.;-)Looks we are going to get some bad weather tomorrow starting mid-afternoon. I like snow, but don't like ice. Looks like the kids maybe home Tue if it comes like they are saying. That's ok I have Wii Fit to wear them out ;-)Even Mala has a great time on our Wii. He loves to run on the wii fit and play Mario card. I love to ski and do aerobics.

Saturday
I have a new baby girl cousin born today named Adie Violet. Of course named after our grandma. She has dark hair and is prefect. I'll share a pic if Aunt Linda sends me one...
If you all have noticed I am no writing as much there is 2 reasons for that. #1 is I have been ill with the pain meds and #2 is that I have been hanging out on Face book alot lately chatting. It's really cool if you haven't checked it out yet.
Looks like we will be home again tomorrow. We will go to that online church again and check it out. We had a small group to go to tonight, but couldn't make it. Were doing the book on 40 days of spiritual journey to a more generous life. Neat book all the small groups in our church are doing. We are in the small group with Jeremiah's best friends family. Jeremiah and Chase are still very close friends. His mom was so sweet last weekend after my surgery and came and got Jeremiah for a playdate and then brought him back. They enjoy going to church together these days.

KUNG FU WARRIOR
The kids were glad Family Theater started back up today after the holidays. They absolutely love it. It's where kids take there parents to learn. It is a 30min program with skits, videos, prayer time, lesson time, dancing, bubbles and much much more. I am so amazed at how much our kids have gotten out of this program. They look forward to it each Sunday.

Kyle and Jeremiah went to NPC Impact this morning. Jeremiah saw his best friend Chase there and had a great time helping. Jonas, Mala and I stayed home and played. We cleaned and painted some pictures.
Kyle and Jeremiah got home and Jonas glasses got broke. Kyle took him back out the door to get them looked at. They are broke and he needs a new pair. We will order them on Monday. Kyle is taking Jonas out to lunch and some daddy/son fun time. Jonas had a rough morning and I thought he'd have fun just going with daddy.
we are now eating some lunch and Malachi will take a short nap. Then we will most likely go look at the house we are interested in buying. It is a really nice house. Jonas told me that mom we need to get all our stuff out of this house before we sell it. afraid someone is going to take his house and all his stuff. ;-) I thought that was cute...

MOPS
While at MOPS i talked to a mom that is a foster-to-adopt mom. They have adopted 4 children. 2 right out of the hospital. She was so encouraging to talk to.

Today we had another big day. We started the day off with going to see a new house. We found one we think we like and are praying if this is the right move. It is bigger than ours and we are so out of room these days. We meet with the Realtor next week to discuss our house possibly going on the market.
This evening Gramps and Granny came up and watched the boys for us. The boys had a blast and made Gramps and Granny's Mii Wii's, so they can play Wii. ;-) Sounded like we had alittle excitement a couple times with boys behavior, but sounds like Gramps handled it great.
We went to an Info meeting tonight about adoption. we learned lots of information and got some questions answered. We start classes in 3 weeks. We are excited about the classes. There was 4 other couples there tonight also interested. The lady doing the meeting has a little boy she has adopted from foster care that she got as a newborn.
So, that's our day in a nutshell...Tomorrow morning is MOPS and Malachi is excited to see his friends.
Wednesday
Then later that afternoon after picking up Jonas from school we came home and starting cooking for Amy. She had her new baby girl couple weeks ago. We made her pasta bake, cookies, rolls and green beans. I hope they enjoyed it. They sure have a sweet little girl at there house. You forget how little they are at first. Mommy and Baby are doing good. She also had a 2 year old boy and a 4year old girl.
After we dropped off her meal we then went to church. Kyle took the 2 older kids to there area and then ran the sound for them and I worked in Malachi's room. It was an long fun day...

Malachi had fun at Felicia's house this morning and all the girls there. She watches 3 little girls and he loves playing with them. As I was tucking him in bed last night I said you get to see all the girls at Felicia's tomorrow. He laid there and named all there names. ;-) They are all so cute...
Jeremiah had a great back at school today also. He loves school. He is helping Malachi find some trains in the train bucket right now. Jeremiah and Malachi play great together.
Therapy went ok today. They do not like that my little finger wont' bend at all hardly. We will see what the surgeon says Wednesday. He could say any of 3 things... I'm done and your done meaning no more therapy and live with it as is. He could say come back in 3-4months and we will do surgery on your little finger and then followed by 1-2months of major therapy or he could schedule for surgery now and have lots of therapy afterwards. I am kinda nervous. It's kinda all come down to a pain little finger... My neck has been bothering me and had to talk to the back/neck therapist again today and try some other things. The boxing Wii really messed it up, but none of the other Wii games seem to bother it really I don't think. He said, the boxing is just alittle to much for a back/neck that has been strained like mine in the wreck. I was really moving because I was trying to beat the undefeated Jeremiah. I didn't win and hurt myself. Anyway, it comes down to Wednesday to see if I am done or not with therapy.

I would go crazy looking at all those adorable little girl clothes. ;-) Why is it that there is 4x's as many girl clothes in the stores as there is boys clothes?? Once in a great while I get to go look in the little girl clothes and pick out something for a new baby. Kyle and I were looking for some house shoes for the boys the other day and didn't see anything we liked accept for some adorable little pink ones. ;-) Hopefully it will work out for us to adopt a little girl. I know we have our hands full with what we have, but we have always talked about adoption even before we were married.

Fun Day!
I kidnapped Kyle today and took him out for a day of fun without kids!! We never do this, but that is why I did it because we should take more time for just us. The best thing a couple can do for there family is have a strong marriage, so we are going to start going out more. I told Kyle we were going out today, but didn't tell him where we were going. I planned the whole day out with him in mind. I first took him to Shoney's for breakfast. That was very yummy. With our tummy's full I took him to best buy to look around and bought him a new Wii game. ;-) He loves to look around Best Buy, but the kids are a hand full in places like that. I think he enjoyed just looking around at what he wanted to. Then I took him to a movie and we watched Bedtime Stories. It was actually really good. Better than I thought it was going to be. We ate popcorn that was very good. I then took him to Barns and Noble book store to look around and he picked out a book he wanted. He loves to look around there, but it is another place that the boys make challenging to look around. I then took him to Mexican Villa because he is always wanting Mexican and I'm usually not to interested. Since today was planning with him in mind I decided Mexican it was!! It was good. Then we headed home to see our sweet, amazing, cute, wild boys. ;-) It was a great day and actually the best one of the year...Kyle made some new year resolutions this year and was telling them to me. He ask me what ones I made. I told him I made none this year. He looked puzzled and I said that I was just going to live everyday like it was my last! Make every moment count in everything you do... HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE...
